The Island Players' Teen Actors Guild (IPTAG)

The Island PlayersTeen Actors Guild (IPTAG) was established in 2000 to promote  theater education for our local teens 13 to 19 years of age. Theater education extends to all aspects of live theater productions such as acting, directing, producing, light and sound techniques, stage management, costuming and props management. IPTAG members meet once a month for informal training sessions and participate in the production of their own IPTAG show, TIP 4 mainstage shows, our Christmas show and the Young People's Summer Workshop (YPSW). IPTAG acts in a supporting role for the YPSW, both on and off stage.

If you are interested in joining IPTAG or would like further information about IPTAG, please send e-mail to:  The IPTAG coordinator will respond to your inquiry as soon as possible.

Congratulations to the recipients of the first annual Jack Hanley Founders Award! The Island Players and the members of IPTAG would like to extend their hearty Congratulations to David Wheeler, Trevor Williams, and Evan Young.
