Jerry’s Girls
This Broadway hit features composer’s Jerry Herman’s best songs for women from such immortal musicals as Mame, Hello Dolly, Milk and Honey, Mack and Mabel, and La Cage Aux Folles. Jerry’s Girls premiered at the St. James Theatre on December 18, 1985. Directed by Larry Alford, the production starred Dorothy Loudon, Chita Rivera, and Leslie Uggams. Rivera was nominated for a Tony Award for her performance.
