For 68 years, The Island Players (TIP) have been a part of the fabric of Saint Simons Island and the Golden Isles, providing quality, amateur theatrical entertainment. TIP provides locals with the opportunity to try their hand at performing, singing, and stagecraft. As a 501c3 non-profit, we give back to the community in several ways by providing workshops to the youth around the area in theatre operations and also funding a scholarship to continue the education of our workshop participants planning to study in the performing arts in college. For shows, tickets are offered, at reduced rates to students, seniors and service members. We invite you to join us in celebrating the joys of live theater on the Golden Isles!

Our Season
The 2023-2024 season features four full-run shows, a summer youth workshop and production, and a Christmas production for adults and youth.
Patron, Season, and Single show tickets are available for purchase.
Residents and part-time residents alike are invited to not only attend each performance, but also to audition for shows or to work on their production team.

As a not for profit organization our shows are produced by an all volunteer organization governed and managed by our Board of Directors and receives funding from corporate and private donations and membership subscription. We offer many tiers of sponsorship in which we put the ad of your choosing into each of our show’s programs and on our website!
